CORNWELL DONATES $1 MILLION TO CSI SCHOOL
Crime novelist PATRICIA CORNWELL is donating $ 1 million (£500,00) to a new academy teaching crime scene techniques.
The best-selling writer was moved to dig deep after witnessing appalling practices during real-life investigations.
Cornwell, 51, says, "I’ve seen cops walk through blood. I’ve seen them leave their own fingerprints on a window. I’ve seen bloody clothing put in a plastic bag, so it decomposes.
"The money will go towards a Crime Scene Academy at Manhattan’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
