The 50-year-old, who was married to the Rolling Stones frontman for nine years, has vowed to leave nothing out of her memoirs.
Hall admits she’s committing her life story to paper the old fashioned way with a pen - because she hates using technology.
She says, "I’m just writing everything. In longhand. I don’t do computers.

British actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has been shocking her ATONEMENT co-star JAMES McAVOY by sending him obscene text messages.
The star was so overwhelmed to learn of the movie’s BAFTA nominations - 14 in total - last month (Jan08) she bombarded the Scottish actor with a barrage of profanities.
She tells British radio station Heart, "We did text other but I was quite rude to him…. but I meant it in a loving way.
"I can’t remember what exactly I wrote but it involved a lot of swear words I think." Despite the film’s 14 nominations, Atonement only managed to garner two wins at Sunday (10Feb08) night’s ceremony, including Best Picture.

Actor DANIEL RADCLIFFE has quashed rumours revered filmmaker STEVEN SPIELBERG will be directing the seventh HARRY POTTER movie.
The 18-year-old, who is currently shooting Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - the sixth movie in the boy wizard franchise, is adamant Spielberg will not be taking the helm for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, even though a director has yet to be appointed for the movie.
He tells British radio station Heart FM, "It’s absolute rubbish. It’s not true. There’s absolutely no foundation in that at all. I have no idea how that rumour started or where it came from."

ATONEMENT director JOE WRIGHT is desperate to cast British actress KATHY BURKE in one of his films - because she is responsible for his success in the showbiz industry.
The filmmaker was working as an extra in the 1985 drama Revolution when he met Burke, now 43. She encouraged him to chase his dream after he was bullied by other teenage actors on set.
And now 36-year-old Wright is eager to repay the Nil By Mouth star for her kindness.

Bollywood actress KATRINA KAIF has denied reports she was slapped by boyfriend SALMAN KHAN during a recent trip to a coffee shop in Mumbai, India, dismissing the rumours as "utter rubbish".
The Namastey London star has never publicly commented on her private life, but was forced to break her silence after media reports alleged she was the victim of abuse by actor Khan.
She says, "Enough is enough, I have never talked about my personal life and don’t intend to because I have always believed that what is personal is personal. But this is too much. The story that has appeared is utter rubbish and fabricated.
"I suspect that it’s being spread by people with vested interests and ulterior motives. I would like to repeat that nothing of this sort happened.
Normally, I don’t like to clarify but sometimes one has to take a stand and this is one of those times." It is not the first time Khan has been the subject of controversy. In August (07), he was arrested in Jodhpur airport in India after his appeal against his five-year jail sentence for killing an endangered species was rejected by a court. In 2002, he was charged with 10 counts in a hit-and-run case, including causing death by negligent driving.

JUNO director JASON REITMAN has dashed hopes of a sequel to the Oscar-nominated film, insisting he won’t work on a follow up.
The moviemaker is adamant any return to the story of actress Ellen Page’s 16-year-old Juno wouldn’t match up to the original, because the teen pregnancy storyline was what made the critically-acclaimed film so unique.
He tells the New York Post’s PageSix.com, "I can’t see it. She got pregnant once; I just can’t see her getting pregnant again."

Revered Bollywood director ARIBAM SYAM has been honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the Mumbai International Film Festival in India.
The moviemaker/musician received the award on Saturday (09Feb08) at the Tata Auditorium in the capital, and was given a standing ovation for his contribution to Indian cinema.
Leena Manimekalai’s Godesses won the Golden Conch for the Best Indian Documentary Film, winning a cash prize of 100,000 rupees ($6321; £3160).
Polish movie One Day In People’s Poland and Beyond The Wall were jointly awarded second place, winning the Silver Conch in the same category.
Meanwhile, the Golden Conch for Best Feature Film was awarded to Rahi Anil Barve’s Manhjha - a harrowing expression of child sexual abuse.

Actor RYAN PHILLIPPE is still struggling to come to terms with his failed marriage to REESE WITHERSPOON - more than 16 months after they split.
The Crash star sunk into severe depression following the break-up of his seven-year union to the Oscar-winning beauty, and admits he is slowly coming to terms with his status as a divorcee.
He tells the new issue of W magazine, "You get through it. It’s a process that’s not easy, but I get less and less sad about it every day.
The former couple, who are parents to eight-year-old Ava Elizabeth and four-year-old Deacon Reese, split in October 2006. Their divorce was finalised in October 2007.
Previously, Phillippe confessed he contemplated suicide following the split.
In an interview last year (07), the actor admitted he suffered a breakdown when his actress wife filed for divorce.
He said, "After the divorce I was a physical wreck. I wanted to die. I was ready to kill myself.
"I was not taking care of myself at all. I would wake up and cry and vomit."

The Come Away With Me star can remember what it was like to be a struggling performer, so she makes her artist friends’ lives easier by treating them to gourmet dinners and luxury holidays.
Jones says, "I don’t really have a major extravagance. I do get excited when I take my friends for a nice dinner - because most of them are still struggling artists, and don’t have much money.
"I also took them on holiday to Costa Rica and that was great. It’s nice to be able to do things like that."

British rockers GUILLEMOTS have launched an online search to find a new female singer to join the band.
The Made-Up Love Song stars’ band was left one member down after saxophone player Alex J. Ward recently left the group to concentrate on other projects.
And the Guillemots want a female vocalist who can also play an instrument to be their new addition to the band.
Making the appeal on their MySpace.com blog, the group say they need "someone with a really distinctive, uninhibited voice who could add some harmonies/noises to some of out songs".

Shocked Album of The Year Grammy winner HERBIE HANCOCK made peace with rival KANYE WEST on the red carpet of the glitzy Los Angeles event on Sunday (10Feb08).
The jazz great didn’t expect his River: The Joni Letters to make him the first African-American jazz artist to win the coveted prize, and his first thought was for West’s disappointment.
The outspoken rapper had claimed the award was all his.
Hancock says, "Kanye and I are cool. I saw him earlier, and I said `Good luck!’ and he said, `I’d love to wish you good luck … but I don’t want you to get Album of The Year.

The subject of PLAIN WHITE T’S hit HEY THERE DELILAH delighted fans outside the Grammy Awards on Sunday (10Feb08) by accompanying singer TOM HIGGENSON to the ceremony.
Higgenson was driven to write the 2007 chart anthem after falling for athlete Delilah DiCrescenzo when they met in Chicago, Illinois in 2003.
After Hey There Delilah was nominated for two Grammys - Song Of The Year and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group - Higgenson built up his courage and finally asked DiCrescenzo out on a high-profile date.
However, while DiCrescenzo accompanied Higgenson to the Los Angeles event, where fans began singing Hey There Delilah to her, she made it clear the two are not romantically involved as she has a boyfriend of six years.
She said, "He’s not jealous. It’s (relationship with Higgenson) strictly platonic. I played a pretty important role in Hey There Delilah, so I wanted to be here.
"Being here is a very surreal experience. It is not normally my scene, which is normally training for my Olympic shot." DiCrescenzo wasn’t a lucky charm for Higgenson at the Grammys - Plain White T’s missed out on claiming gold in the two categories the song was nominated in.

Hong Kong pop star GILLIAN CHUNG has broken her silence to apologise for a naked photo scandal which has left her clean-cut image in tatters.
The singer, 27, who performs in pop duo Twins with bandmate Charlene Choi, has spoken out for the first time since pictures allegedly showing her with male star Edison Chen naked in bed together were leaked online last month (Jan08).
And Chung has put her embarrassing moment down to her inexperience in dealing with fame.
She says, "I admit that I was naive and very silly, but I’ve grown up now. I want to thank my company, family and friends for their concern.
"As for the influence this incident has had on society, I apologise. In the coming days I will continue to focus on my work and face up to my life." The apology comes just days after Chung’s record company, Emperor Entertainment Group, insisted in a statement the pictures had been digitally altered.
Police are currently investigating the incident, in which over 1300 images of celebrities had been stolen from a computer, purported to belong to Chen. Eight people have so far been arrested for infringement of obscene material laws.

Lyricist SIR TIM RICE has ruled out a future collaboration with composer SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER - because no new score will be able to match the high standard of their previous efforts.
The pair, whose successful musicals include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar, ended their professional relationship following a bitter split after writing Evita in the 1970s.
But despite reconcilling their friendship, Rice insists they have no plans to resume writing for musical theatre.
He says, "It’s quite difficult to come back to a partnership. It’s like trying to get married again.
"Now I think maybe it’s best for both of us, and we’re obviously going to be friends until one of us kicks the bucket (dies). I’m not sure we could have kept it up. The problem is if we did something that wasn’t as good, and it almost certainly wouldn’t be, people would say, ‘Ah well, we always knew they were never any good.’"

CAMERON DIAZ is facing competition from GREY’S ANATOMY star ELLEN POMPEO for an apartment in New York, after both actresses were seen viewing the same $5.5 million (£2.75 million) pad.
The luxury property is located in the upmarket Chelsea Club, and boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms and six private terraces, according to the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix.
Diaz first looked at the apartment during her four-year relationship with pop star Justin Timberlake, which ended in January 2007, and paid her third visit to the property last week (ends08Feb08).
Pompeo viewed the pad for the first time last week, but neither star is thought to have put in a formal offer just yet.

EVA LONGORIA PARKER’s husband TONY PARKER was "shocked" at accusations he cheated on his new wife - branding those who spread the allegations "wicked".
Basketball player Parker faced allegations of infidelity in December last year (07) with a model he is alleged to have met at his Paris, France wedding to the actress in July (07).
But the San Antonio Spurs star denied the claims and has started legal proceedings against the bosses of Los Angeles news and photo agency X17online.com for making the allegations public.
And he insists the claims have only made him more determined to protect himself from any future damning personal accusations.
He says, "It’s the most bizarre episode in my life.
"I’ve never hired an attorney in my life, and then all of a sudden, in two weeks, there’s three totally false charges brought out. What shocked me the most was the wickedness of people. Without doubt, I’m going to have to protect myself a little more."
