TV talent show phenomenon AMERICAN IDOL is to be turned into an attraction at Florida’s DisneyWorld theme park.
Fans of the programme will be able to ‘audition’ by performing in video kiosks and those selected by a Disney Hollywood Studios producer will sing for a panel of judges.
Performers with the highest votes each day will then compete in a finale show. But Disney bosses and Idol producers are keen to point out that daily winners will not get the chance to appear on the TV talent show.
The Idol attraction is expected to debut later this year (08).
