BAUER HEARTBROKEN BY GIRLFRIEND’S SUICIDE
LATEST: Veteran actor MAX BAUR has been left devastated by the suicide of his girlfriend CHERE RHODES.
The Beverly Hillbillies star, 70, found Penthouse model Rhodes unconscious with a gunshot wound to the chest at his Lake Tahoe, California home on 24 January (08).
According to police, Rhodes regained consciousness and told cops she had tried to take her own life. She died in hospital three days later - leaving behind two children.
And Baur is heartbroken by her sudden passing.
He says, "I loved her so much. I’m overwhelmed. I need some time for it all to sink in."
