OSMOND PROUD OF REHAB SON
MARIE OSMOND has spoken out about her son’s stint in rehab, insisting the teenager is well on his way to recovery.
Michael Osmond, 16, ended a traumatic year for the singer when he checked into an undisclosed treatment centre in November (07).
The Paper Roses hitmaker broke the news during an interview with newsman Larry King, stating, "My son is amazing." In an official statement, she added, "As his mother, I couldn’t be more proud of him." Now, Osmond says, "I’m so proud of my son and I’m so grateful that he’s learning things at 16 that some of us take in our 40s to learn (sic)." Details surrounding the reason for Michael Osmond’s rehab stint have not been disclosed.
