EMINEM’s longtime collaborator TRICK TRICK has denied rumours the SLIM SHADY star has piled on the pounds due to health problems, insisting reports of his ballooning weight have been radically exaggerated.
The superstar rapper - real name Marshall Mathers III - was hospitalised over the festive season after suffering from heart problems, arising from a bout of influenza.
And his estranged mother Debbie Nelson recently fuelled rumours of his weight problems.
In her new book, My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem, Nelson says: "His face has broken out in pimples and he’s put on so much weight that he’s causing all sorts of other health problems for himself." But close pal Trick Trick claims reports Eminem now weighs as much as 250 pounds (113 kilograms) are false.
He tells MTV.com, "Em just picked up some weight, that’s it. He’s nowhere (near) 250 pounds or anything like that. He picked up a little weight.
"He ain’t walkin’ around obese or some s**t though. He can still run two miles if you want him to and still out-box the majority of them. My man still gets down."

RYAN GOSLING paid a special tribute to pal HEATH LEDGER at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (27Jan08) - by wearing a special black ribbon on his lapel.
The actor’s sister Mandy designed the subtle black bow for The Notebook star because she felt Ledger’s death should be acknowledged on the red carpet.
Gosling’s sibling, who was his ‘date’ to the awards, says, "We just had to mark something terrible has happeneed." And the actor himself used interest in his black ribbon to urge the media to leave those grieving Ledger’s shock death last week (22Jan08) to mourn in peace.
He said, "They (media) should leave all the people in his life alone. It’s terrible." He wasn’t the only one with Ledger on his mind - Best Actor winner Daniel Day-Lewis dedicated his award to the Brokeback Mountain star.

MICHAEL JACKSON will make a surprise comeback at the American Football Super Bowl this weekend in TV advertisements to promote the 25th anniversary of THRILLER.
The star is to be honoured in a Pepsi commercial, based on the ghoulish Thriller video, which will air during the showdown game between the New England Patriots and the New York Giants on Sunday (03Feb08).
The move is a marketing ploy to promote a special anniversary version of the album - and will be followed by a "major TV, radio, online and outdoor advertising campaign", reports the New York Post.
Jackson is also rumoured to be among the stars appearing at the Grammy Awards on 10 February (08) alongside Akon, will.i.am and Fergie.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ longtime companion, SAM LUTFI, has revealed the singer has sought treatment for a series of mental issues.
Lutfi called revered U.S. newswoman Barbara Walters at the weekend (26/27Jan08) in a bid to clear up reports about the Toxic singer’s health.
And when Walters asked him if she could talk about their conversation during her morning show The View on Monday (28Jan08), Lutfi agreed.
She told viewers about their chat, stating Lutfi referred to himself as Spears’ manager.
She revealed, "I can’t vouch for this; he seemed to be very knowledgeable and he certainly was very nice.
"He said that Britney is suffering from what he describes as mental issues which are treatable.
"He said that she has been to a psychiatrist… she has been having moodswings, she’s been having trouble sleeping… Whatever has been happening, she’s now sleeping." Lutfi also told Walters that Spears has reconciled with her mother Lynne after a period of estrangement.
Walters said, "She is in touch with her mother… and her mother has been very supportive." The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg admitted to Walters she wasn’t surprised by Lutfi’s comments, adding, "I said I thought there was something emotionally wrong. I think this girl has worked and worked… and she’s burned out." Walters then revealed Spears had dumped her paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, who went public with romantic details and taped messages the singer had left him on U.S. news shows last week (ends26Jan08).
The TV host added, "I’m not an authority… but I believe she has moved away from this boyfriend."

Leaked videos of TOM CRUISE singing the praises of Scientology were good publicity for the controversial religion, church elders have confirmed.
Footage of an energised Cruise promoting the religion found its way onto the internet last week (begs21Jan08), prompting an outpouring of criticism aimed at the star.
But Scientology bosses insist the star’s bizarre monologues, in which he referred to the faith as "a blast" and saluted a statue of founder L. Ron Hubbard boosted the church’s profile.
A spokesperson tells PageSix,com, "Having presented these selective and out of context excerpts with the intent of creating both controversy and ridicule resulted in people searching for Church of Scientology websites.
"The clip on the internet was nine minutes long. It was edited to make Tom look really crazy." Last week, actress and fellow Scientologist, Kirstie Alley, came to Cruise’s defence, claiming the video was never meant to be seen by the general public.
She said, "Tom was using words meant for a Scientology audience. On the web, the video is take out of context.
"It’s like a rabbi addressing a Christian church, speaking in Hebrew. No one would understand him."

RICKI LAKE is terrified she’ll lose her new svelte figure if she experiences trauma in her life.
The TV host has lost an astonishing 63 kilograms (140 pounds) and has dropped to a size six, after battling with weight issues for years.
But Lake admits she is an "emotional eater" and could pile it all back on.
She tells TV host Larry King, "I think if something tragic happens - I mean I think I’m an emotional eater, just like everybody else. I can’t say never, but I hope not. I mean it’s been hard work. It’s work. I work-out consistently."

British actor SEAN BEAN was forced to clamber up mountains on the set of THE LORD OF THE RINGS - because he is petrified of flying. The 48-year-old, who played Boromir in the fantasy movie, refused to use helicopters with his co-stars on the New Zealand set of the hit movie franchise, choosing to walk everywhere instead.
And Bean - who, ironically, is famed for his action roles - blames his parents for passing on the phobia, as they hated the thought of flying as well.
He says, "My parents were afraid of flying and it rubbed of on me. I used to drive to all my film locations in Europe but I couldn’t when it came to filming The Lord Of The Rings in New Zealand.
"But I wouldn’t get into a helicopter with the rest of the cast. They had to wait for me to walk up the mountain and join them before they could start filming."

A statue of HAPPY DAYS character ARTHUR ‘FONZIE’ FONZARELLI is to be erected in his `hometown’ of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The bronze likeness will go up in the city - where the 1970s show was set thanks to $84,000 (£42,000) in donations raised by residents and fans of the long running U.S. TV sitcom.
Henry Winkler, who played the leather-clad lady-killer, describes the Bronze the Fonz project as a "phenomenal compliment".
He says, "It’s not often you have a dream when you’re seven, lying in your bed, (and) you get to live your dream out and then someone is going to erect a life-size statue of your creation."

Actor ERIC DANE and his wife REBECCA GAYHEART almost missed the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (27Jan08) - because their car broke down on the way to the Los Angeles ceremony.
The couple was heading to the Hollywood event when they experienced car trouble and were forced to change vehicles - twice.
Grey’s Anatomy hunk Dane says, "(It was) just a hiccup. Transport problems; we went through three cars getting here." Gayheart adds, "The battery died. Our friend was driving us here, then they had to send another car to meet us halfway. It was an adventure!"

HARVEY WEINSTEIN wants to take actor pal WOODY HARRELSON to the Super Bowl on Sunday (03Feb08) as a good luck charm - after he helped the mogul’s favourite team qualify for the big game.
The pair watched the National Football Conference championship game between Weinstein’s beloved New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers together on 20 January (08), and Weinstein claims the Giants only turned the game around in their favour after Harrelson started supporting them.
Now he wants the former Cheers star to cheer for the Giants on Sunday, when his team takes on the undefeated New England Patriots in Arizona.
He says, "When the game started, I realised Woody Harrelson was rooting for Green Bay. I offered him $500 to change his allegiance. He took the money and started cheering for the Giants. I’m hoping Woody will join me for the Super Bowl for good luck."

Stunt performers from THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM and 24 also won big at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (27Jan08).

Hip-hop star KANYE WEST surprised a crowd at the American Museum of Natural History in New York last week when he jumped onstage to join KID SISTER for a short set.

Disgraced rocker GARY GLITTER’s lawyer has vehemently denied rumours the convicted paedophile will flee to Hong Kong when he’s released from a Vietnamese prison later this year (08).
The 63-year-old - who was convicted in Vietnam of committing obscene acts on children in March 2006 - was reportedly lining up a new life in the Chinese city following his three-year stint behind bars, due to end in August.
However, the shamed singer’s legal team has blasted claims Glitter is planning an escape to Hong Kong following his release.
Le Thanh Kinh, Glitter’s lawyer, says, "It is not clear where he will go after his release."

ARCADE FIRE, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, WILCO and M.I.A. are among the final 10 acts to be nominated for the 2007 Shortlist Music Prize.
Arcade Fire’s album Neon Bible, LCD Soundsystem’s Sound of Silver, Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky and M.I.A.’s Kala will all battle it out for the coveted accolade - America’s equivalent to the U.K.’s Mercury Music Prize.
Other contenders are Cross by Justice, Untrue by Burial, Feist’s The Reminder, Spoon’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, Stars’ In Our Bedroom After the War and Working for a Nuclear Free City’s Businessmen & Ghosts.
The list was narrowed down from 54 nominees to just 10 this week (28Jan08), with stars like Ronnie Vannucci of The Killers and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody among those on the judging panel.
Discs which failed to make the shortlist include Bjork’s Volta, Juliette and the Licks’ Four on the Floor, and Eddie Vedder’s work on the soundtrack to the Sean Penn movie, Into the Wild.
The prize - which was last won by Cat Power for The Greatest - aims to honour albums released between January and November (07) that have yet to be certified gold (500,000 units) by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The winner of 2007’s gong will be announced next month (Feb08).

LATEST: Former NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK singer DANNY WOODS has dismissed reports of a boyband reunion, insisting there has been "no discussion" about a new tour.
The group, which sold over 50 million albums in the late 1980s and early 1990s, was alleged to be reforming after their official website - which was previously dormant - became fully functional and invited fans to sign up to the site for more information.
But, in a posting on social networking site MySpace.com, Woods claims he is unaware of any reunion and is focussing on his solo career.
He writes, "I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly.
"Never say never, and you can’t believe everything you read.
"On another note my solo record will be released in Australia in March." The Step by Step hitmakers - consisting of bandmembers Wood, Jonathan Knight, Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre and Jordan Knight - split in 1994 after 10 years together.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ paparazzo boyfriend ADNAN GHALIB has denied attempting to sell private videos of the star.
The British born photographer, who has been dating the Toxic star since December (07), has been accused of pitching home movies of the singer to the media.
The footage, which is rumoured to show Spears sitting around in her nightwear having an intimate conversation, was reported to be on offer for $2 million (£1 million).
But now the celebrity photo agency that employs Ghalib has released a statement insisting the snapper is not trying to exploit his on/off lover.
The statement from Finalpixx reads, "If you read on Perez (Hilton, celebrity Internet blogger) or anywhere else about Adnan selling some weird videos with Britney, please know that it is all lies. No such tapes exist." It’s not the first time Ghalib’s motives for dating Spears have come into question - earlier this month (Jan08) he was criticised for revealing Spears’ private voicemails in a paid-for TV interview. The photographer has also been previously accused of setting up pictures of the couple for his own financial gain.

A woman who claimed she had an affair with ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has resurfaced in a new documentary about the star.
The California Governor has long refuted former actress Gigi Goyette’s claims the pair enjoyed a seven-year fling in the 1970s and ’80s, starting when she was just 16.
But she has reappeared in Dan Cox’s new documentary Running With Arnold. In an interview with Cox, Goyette claims she sexually pleasured Schwarzenegger while massaging him.

RUSSELL CROWE had to beg an up-and-coming director five times to let him narrate a small independent movie - because filmmaker KOBY ABBERTON was convinced it was a hoax.
The pair exchanged a series of foul-mouthed telephone conversations until the Oscar winner managed to convince former surfer Abberton he was the real Russell Crowe.
Bra Boys director Abberton tells the New York Daily News, "When Russell called me because he wanted to get involved in the film, I said, ‘F**k you, mate,’ because I was convinced it was my buddy.
"He called back a few more times, and every time I said, ‘F**k you,’ and hung up on him. So then I was on the computer and he messaged me and said, ‘Listen, this really is Russell and I really do want to be involved in your movie. If you don’t want that, then go f**k yourself.’ "Then I was I was like, ‘Whoa! Russell Crowe just told me to f**k off.’"
