MOAKLER ATTACKS ‘SICK & SAD’ STARS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:08 am

Former Miss USA SHANNA MOAKLER has blasted Hollywood’s party girls for the "sick and sad" way they behave - because she fears too many wannabes feel they have to be outrageous to get famous.
The reality TV star, who until recently was married to rocker Travis Barker, has taken aim at Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears for their controversial antics.
In a posting on her blog, she fumes, "It’s sick and sad… that the reality is having a sex tape and letting men p**s on you, getting DUI’s (drink-driving arrests), flashing your crotch and going to jail is apparently today, the image young men and woman strive for to get their foot in the door.
"That’s not talent and it sure doesn’t deserve fame. I mean that’s the message I see everyday in my TV, in my papers, on my radios (sic).
"I don’t want to be known for any of this!! I’ll keep my small-time reality show and my dignity and keep it moving!" And Moakler insists the behaviour of other stars has made her think twice about making her private life public.
The sexy blonde used her blog to attack Barker when the couple first split last year (07) - and now regrets letting the public know her thoughts and feelings.
She adds, "My marriage is just not up for entertainment anymore."

  • OLSEN PASSES ON CONDOLENCES TO LEDGER’S FAMILY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:06 am

Actress MARY-KATE OLSEN has broken her silence following the death of her close friend HEATH LEDGER by offering her condolences to his family.
The 21-year-old actress, who was linked romantically to the actor, was the first person called by the masseuse who found the Brokeback Mountain star’s body in his New York apartment on Tuesday (22Jan08).
In a statement, Olsen says: "Heath was a friend. His death is a tragic loss.
My thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time." Police confirmed on Friday (25Jan08) that they have no plans to interview Olsen over the circumstances of Ledger’s death.
An autopsy carried out on Wednesday (23Jan08) failed to reveal how the actor died, although officials believe his death could be drug-related as five different bottles of prescription drugs were found around his apartment.
Meanwhile, a representative for the late actor has confirmed that "there are no plans for a public (funeral) service".
Although it has yet to be confirmed, it’s believed Ledger will be buried in his native Perth, Australia.

  • RENFRO PLANNED TO MARRY MOTHER OF HIS SECRET SON

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:06 am

Actor BRAD RENFRO was planning to ask the mother of his four-year-old son to marry him before he died earlier this month (Jan08).
The Client star, who had a history of drug-related problems, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on 15 January (08).
The 25-year-old had a secret son, Yamato, who lives in Japan with his mother - and Renfro wanted them both to move to the U.S. to be closer to him.
Renfro’s cousin Jesse Hasek tells American publication Us Weekly, "He asked me, ‘Do you think I should marry her? I like the feeling of family.’ "It crushed Brad that his kid lived on the other side of the world. He was saying, ‘I should bring them over permanently and be a part of their lives.’"

  • PLUMMER: ‘COLD LONDON DAMP LEFT LEDGER VERY ILL’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:05 am

Veteran actor CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER suspects London’s cold, damp night air contributed to the death of HEATH LEDGER on Tuesday (22Jan08).
The 78-year-old was filming movie The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus with Ledger in the British capital last week (ends18Jan08).
Plummer reveals that the Australian star was suffering from "walking pneumonia" and that Ledger was having trouble sleeping because they were filming the Terry Gilliam movie at night.
He says, "We’re all a bit befuddled at the moment. It’s so sad.
"Heath did have a terrible, lingering bug in London, and he couldn’t sleep at all. We all - I thought he’d probably got walking pneumonia, which they seem to think he had. Of course, I don’t really know, but that’s the latest…
"The last few days we were shooting outside a pub. Always outside. Cold as bejesus. You know how damp it gets in London. And at night the temperature drops horribly, and that little breeze gets up. You have to wear tons of stuff…
"Shooting at night in a big city, it’s not easy…. We were working in such dire conditions in London, outside every night in the cold. Which may have contributed somewhat to his health. We were all armed with antibiotics all the time. It wasn’t exactly joyous, except that the film itself was fun to do.
"Heath’s death is sort of literally unbelievable, because apart from the sleeping, he was in such good form…. There was a sweetness about him. He was a very charming and gentle guy, actually… I just left a very laughing, happy fellow, practically a few minutes ago." Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday.
An autopsy carried out on Wednesday (23Jan08) failed to reveal how the actor died, although police believe his death could be drug-related as five different bottles of prescription drugs were found around his apartment.

  • WYCLEF RISKED HIS LIFE TO MAKE GANG DOCUMENTARY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:02 am

WYCLEF JEAN feared he’d be killed while making hard-hitting gang documentary GHOSTS OF CITE SOLEIL in his native Haiti after learning he was a wanted man.
Gang leaders disapproved of the former Fugees star’s 2006 expose on the mean streets of Port-Au-Prince - and some wanted him shot dead.
The singer/songwriter says, "I thought I’d die before that documentary was finished.
"One time I was going to see a gang leader, and they’d told him to shoot me on sight.
"He said, ‘Boss, these people have given me the authority to shoot you. What do you want me to do?’ "I said, ‘Tell them I come in peace. I’m not Martin Luther King of Gandhi, and if I have to, I’ll rise like Che Guevara.’"

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:59 am

LATEST: The Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI) has denied reports a teenager they’ve arrested on suspicion of planning to hijack a plane had intended to crash the aircraft into a MILEY CYRUS concert.
The unnamed 16-year-old was detained by agents for allegedly smuggling handcuffs, duct tape, rope and other items onto a flight from Los Angeles bound for Louisiana on Tuesday (22Jan08).
However, officials insists reports he planned to hijack the jet and direct it into a gig by Cyrus’ alter-ego Hannah Montana taking place in L.A.’s Lafayette Cajundome are false.
FBI spokesman George Bolds says, "His stated intent was to hijack the airplane and commit suicide. He did indicate he intended to die in Louisiana.
It appears he had a ticket to Louisiana."
