JIMMY CHOO FOUNDER SUES MOTHER

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:17 pm

JIMMY CHOO founder TAMARA MELLON is suing her mother for damages linked to the sale of the hugely successful luxury brand.
The socialite-turned-businesswoman - who is dating Hollywood star Christian Slater - has filed a lawsuit seeking $10 million (£5 million) from her former model mother Ann Yeardye, claiming she is holding stock that no longer belongs to her.
The company was sold in 2004 after becoming popular with celebrities and the wealthy since its inception in 1996.
Mellon says, "I am baffled by my mother’s refusal to return assets which rightfully do not belong to her."
