WILLIAMS FAMILY ‘HEARTBROKEN’ BY LEDGER’S DEATH
MICHELLE WILLIAMS and her family have been left heartbroken by the death of HEATH LEDGER, her father reveals.
Larry Williams insists Ledger remained close to his family following the two actors’ split last year - and the Williams family are devastated by his death from a suspected drug overdose in his New York apartment on Tuesday (22Jan08).
Williams - grandfather to Ledger’s two year old daughter Matilda - says, "It has broken everybody’s heart in my family. My heart goes out to everyone, his family, my family, we are just very saddened.
"The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved dearly." Larry Williams is currently in Ledger’s native Australia, fighting extradition to the U.S. on tax evasion charges.
