CATE BLANCHETT is set to make Oscars history - if she can just pull off a double at the Academy Awards next month (Feb08).
The actress won Oscar nominations in the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories on Tuesday morning (22Jan08) - for Elizabeth: The Golden Age and I’m Not There respectively.
It’s the 11th time a performer has received nominations in both leading and supporting categories in the same year - but no one has achieved the double.
