ONCE SCORES TWICE AT GOLDEN TOMATOES

Irish romance ONCE has been named a double winner at the 2008 Golden Tomato Awards.
Once was awarded the Best Limited Release Film and Best Musical gongs at the film critics’ ninth annual honours, while Golden Globe winner Atonement scooped the prize for Best Romance.
Spy thriller The Bourne Ultimatum was named the Best Action/Adventure, while Oscar favourite No Country for Old Men took Best Thriller and Juno won Best Comedy.
Other winners included Away From Her for Best Drama; Grindhouse as Best Horror; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for Best Science-Fiction/Fantasy; Enchanted for Best Family Film, Ratatouille for Best Animation, and The Host as Best Foreign Film.
Meanwhile, Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore’s romantic comedy Because I Said So received the dishonour of the Moldy Tomato for the worst-reviewed film of the year.
The Golden Tomato Awards hail the best-reviewed movies as determined by critics’ opinions featured on website RottenTomatoes.com.
