FIELDER-CIVIL VOWS TO FIGHT FOR WINEHOUSE MARRIAGE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:53 pm

AMY WINEHOUSE’s jailed husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL has dispelled rumours of an impending divorce after vowing to fight for his marriage in an emotional letter to the troubled singer.
Winehouse was spotted arriving at a clinic in London on Tuesday (22Jan08) clutching the desperate note from her spouse, who is currently being held on remand in the city’s Pentonville Prison.
The letter reads, "Because I f**king believe in us we will get through this and our kiss will taste all the sweeter for time served." Winehouse’s father Mitch sparked rumours the couple was heading for a messy divorce after revealing Fielder-Civil had threatened to end his eight-month marriage from behind bars.
The singer’s dad said Fielder-Civil made the threat during an argument with his daughter.
But now it seems the pair is determined to work through their problems.
In the note Fielder-Civil also insists he will be released from prison later in 2008.
Before signing off, he adds, "I’m getting out this year." Fielder-Civil, 25, has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice and will stand trial in June (08).
The 25-year-old is accused of attempting to fix the outcome of a previous trial for grievous bodily harm.

SMITH URGES PEERS TO THINK INTERNATIONALLY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:50 pm

WILL SMITH has hit out at actors who refuse to promote their movies around the world, insisting it’s the only way to become a global superstar.
The I Am Legend star is amazed that only a handful of Hollywood celebrities bother to visit South America, Europe and the Far East to promote films because those that choose not to are missing huge opportunities to become international stars.
He says, "I’ve had conversations bordering on arguments with a lot of actors (about this).
"I ask, ‘How many premieres of your movie have you been to?’ And they say, ‘Oh, one in L.A., one in New York.’ Well, what about London? What about Berlin? Tokyo? Seoul? You have to go.’ "It’s the only way that somebody gets to be a movie star in the way that you look at Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise and myself."

ROTH HER NO REGRETS AFTER MISSING OUT ON POTTER’S SNAPE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:50 pm

British tough guy TIM ROTH refuses to regret not grabbing a lead role in the HARRY POTTER movie franchise - because countryman ALAN RICKMAN is the perfect PROFESSOR SEVERUS SNAPE.
Roth was offered the dark role before Rickman but turned it down because he thought the character was "under-developed".
The Reservoir Dogs star reveals, "There were only a couple of Harry Potter books out at that point, and Snape seemed under-developed.
"I’ve watched the films, and Alan Rickman does a good job. If you pass on a project and it turns out well, then it was probably the right thing to do, but, at that point, I didn’t really want to be on a lunch box."
