JUNO & INTO THE WILD LEAD COSTUME AWARDS NOMINATIONS

JUNO, INTO THE WILD, THE DIVING BELL & THE BUTTERFLY, BLADES OF GLORY and OCEAN’S THIRTEEN will battle it out to win the top prize at the 10th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards.
The five movies were nominated for the Best Contemporary Film Costume honour on Wednesday (16Jan08).
Atonement, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, 3:10 To Yuma, La Vie En Rose and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street will compete for the 19 February (08) event’s Best Period Film, while Best Fantasy Film nods went to Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix, Enchantment, The Golden Compass, 300 and Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End.
Tom Cruise’s longtime production partner Paula Wagner will be honoured with the Presidents Award, while designer Ruth Meyers will be feted with the coveted Career Achievement prize when the ceremony takes place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.
Angelica Huston will host the awards.
