Rapper BOW WOW has laughed off reports he clashed with CHRIS BROWN after spitting on the R&B star.
The 20-year-old hip-hop star insists reports the two tourmates clashed over the incident are ridiculous.
Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, is alleged to have lost his temper while onstage in Dallas, Texas on Saturday (12Jan08) after experiencing technical problems.
Local reports suggested the young rap star stormed offstage shouting at Brown’s staff and accusing the singer’s management of attempting to sabotage his show.
Then, when Brown tried to calm Bow Wow down, the rapper allegedly spat in his face, according to MediaTakeOut.com.
But Moss insists he would never disrespect Brown like that.
He tells MTV.com, "I just got off the phone with Chris. My mom called me and told me about the rumour. I called him and told him, and he started laughing.
We was dying (with laughter).
"Anybody who knows me or anybody who’s been around me knows I’m not that kind of person… A wise man once taught me, `The most vicious thing you can do is spit on somebody.’ "It’s just a rumour. It’s a big rumour. I would never do that. That’s not being a man, that’s a sissy act."

KANYE WEST is wracked with guilt over the death of his mother, believing the cosmetic surgery he paid for killed her.
A recent inquest confirmed the tummy tuck and liposuction Donda West underwent the day before she died in November (07) didn’t contribute to her passing.
She died from a "pre-existing coronary artery disease".
But the rapper still blames himself for encouraging his mother to go under the knife.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "It was his money that paid for the operation and his fame that opened up this very different world to Donda.
"Donda was so proud of Kanye and all he had accomplished, and gave up her job as the head of Chicago State University’s English department to look after his career.
"It would never have occurred to her to have plastic surgery before Kanye hit it big. He can’t help thinking it shouldn’t have happened."

Bosses at a little-known Miami, Florida record label plan to make history by releasing 15 lost BEATLES tunes the Fab Four recorded live in Germany.
Fuego Entertainment executives have reportedly entered into a joint venture with a British producer, who claims to own the rights to the never-before-heard Beatles tracks recorded at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany in 1962.
The producer, Jeffrey Collins, insists the tunes are part of his catalogue holdings, according to Billboard.com.
Collins claims the recordings were made by a DJ he booked, as the Star Club’s promoter.
He says, "They were in terrible condition," but thanks to digital technology he has been able to improve the quality of each live song.
Collins tells Billboard he attempted to release the tracks, which he claims are the first to feature Ringo Starr on drums, through the Beatles’ Apple Corps organisation in the mid-1990s but the existing bandmates and producers weren’t interested.
He expects the release of the tracks to be met with legal problems: "Through legal channels, we will be making these albums available for release. The Beatles know these tapes exist and their lawyers know these tapes exist. It’s a matter of certain legalities." Meanwhile, Fuego bosses are about to embark on a legal spat with Jimi Hendrix’s estate, Experience Hendrix, LLC, over their plans to release 200 live tracks.
The Hendrix officials have threatened legal action in a bid to prevent the "inferior quality bootleg recordings" tarnishing the guitar great’s legacy.

LATEST: Late R&B star IKE TURNER died from a cocaine overdose, according to officials in San Diego, California.
The musician, who was once married to Tina Turner, died on 12 December (07), aged 76.
Following a full autopsy, it was determined on Wednesday (16Jan08) that drugs were the cause of his passing.
Turner battled a cocaine addiction on and off since the late 1960s, which transformed him into a violent control freak, according to Tina Turner in her autobiography.
Turner’s drug problems became infamous in the late 1970s amid a series of financial and legal woes; he was arrested numerous times for drug-related crimes.
During the 1990s, Turner confessed he had turned his back on drugs and it appeared he had been clean ever since.
Turner was laid to rest in California last month after a starstudded memorial service.

LATEST: The employee accused of abusing children at OPRAH WINFREY’s all-girls academy in South Africa is to stand trial in April (08).
Former dorm matron Tiny Virginia Mokgobo, 27, was arrested in October (07) on numerous charges including assault, indecent assault and soliciting underage girls to perform indecent acts, after a local newspaper article brought attention to the matter at Henley-on-Klip Leadership Academy earlier that month.
Mokgobo, who is currently free on bail, appeared in court on Wednesday (16Jan08) to hear a South African judge set the date for her trial as 21 April (08).
The 27-year-old, who did not speak during the brief hearing, attempted to hide her face from the media when arriving at court by placing a towel over her head.
Authorities believe there were at least three separate serious cases of child molestation, which took place over a period of four months last year (07).
Winfrey co-founded the academy in 2006, and in late 2007, issued a heartfelt apology to the students who suffered at the hands of school officials.

Hollywood star TOM HANKS will never direct another movie, because it would meaning spending too much time away from his family.
The actor has turned his hand to directing on a variety of occasions - taking charge of 1996 movie That Thing You Do!, 2001 TV mini-series Band of Brothers, and more recently directing new film A Wilderness of Monkeys, which is due for release later this year (08).
But Hanks, 51, insists the film will be his final directing venture as he would prefer to be at home with his children.
He says, "I’d like to direct again, but I can’t. It’d take me away from my kids, and that’d be inexcusable." Hanks has two grown-up children, Colin, 30, and Elizabeth-Ann, 26, with ex-wife Samantha Lewes, who he divorced in 1987. The star went on to marry Rita Wilson in 1988 and the couple have two sons, Chester, 17, and Truman, 12.

The Pope has condemned fictional wizard HARRY POTTER for giving children an "unhealthy interest" in Satanism.
An article in the Vatican’s official newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano, has accused J.K. Rowling’s creation of leading youngsters away from Christianity.
The paper, which is said to be a mouthpiece for Pope Benedict XVI’s views, claimed the books portrayed a "malicious image of the hero, an unreligious one" and insisted they could not be compared to the work of Lord of the Rings creator JRR Tolkein and C.S. Lewis - who wrote the Chronicles of Narnia.
L’Osservatore Romano goes on to accuse Rowling’s books of transmitting "a vision of the world and the human being full of deep mistakes and dangerous suggestions, even more seductive as it is mixed with half-truths".
Rowling’s seven Harry Potter novels have enjoyed phenomenal international success along with the series of spin-off films which have captivated audiences worldwide.

Danson - a losing nominee in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television - says, "We were at home because of the strike. Which was sad. It was also sad that a lot of shows that could have used the attention, didn’t get it.
"On the upside, we were at home in our pyjamas drinking wine, and when I lost, I jumped up and screamed, ‘I lost, I lost, I lost.’ And sat back down.
Which was great, because usually you have to look like it’s fine."

Mother-to-be HALLE BERRY is terrified at the prospect of giving birth insisting childbirth is more nerve-wracking than awaiting the winners’ announcements at the Academy Awards.
The first-time parent, who suffers from diabetes, has been warned by doctors she will have to be carefully monitored when she goes into labour in the coming months, because her condition can cause birthing complications.

Oscar favourite THE KITE RUNNER has been banned in Afghanistan, because of a graphic scene showing the sexual assault of a young boy.
The movie, which is set in the wartorn country, won’t be screened there after the culture ministry deemed the attack scene "ethnically orientated" - because the boy was raped by another from a different community.
Indian movie Kabul-Express was banned in 2007 on similar grounds.
Deputy culture minister Najib Malalai says, "When one member of an ethnic group is attacked by people from a different one, it makes it seem that ethnicity was the cause for this type of act. It cannot be accepted." The four young stars of the movie have already fled Afghanistan for the U.S.
fearing they would be targetted because of the harrowing scene.
