Opera star MARILYN HORNE is celebrating after winning her cancer battle.
The beloved 74-year-old mezzo-soprano was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the disease that killed her friend Luciano Pavarotti - in 2006.
Horne underwent a pioneering experimental treatment that has only been administered to select cancer sufferers, which involves regular injections of pancreatic cancer cells genetically modified with a gene to boost immunity.
