Rocker ROD STEWART’s son SEAN has escaped serious injury after he was involved in a major car crash last week, when his vehicle was hit by a drunk driver.
The 27-year-old reality TV star was driving down Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles with his on/off girlfriend Caleigh Peters on Wednesday (09Jan08) when his Range Rover collided with the other car, causing Stewart’s sports utility vehicle to spin out of control.
Stewart suffered from a brief loss of consciousness, while Peters was unharmed, reports the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix.
A spokesman for Peters’ producer father Jon says, "(The experience) puts everything into perspective. She’s just grateful to be alive." The couple is recovering from the shock of the incident at the Maggie May star’s Hollywood home.
