Actress GOLDIE HAWN has slammed the paparazzi for forcing her and her husband KURT RUSSELL into isolation at their Colorado home.
The Hollywood couple has been living on and off in Aspen for 25 years, but Hawn claims they have been left trapped indoors by the aggressive hounding of predatory photographers.
And the 62-year-old is also furious at the way the snappers stalk her daughter Kate Hudson.
She rants, "They’ve come into our little town and they really have done their job: They’ve shooed us out.
"But it ain’t (sic) like the old days anymore. You find yourself running and dodging and jumping in your car. I can’t go into my own town. I hurt for my children. It’s not fair."

Hollywood star JUDE LAW has been given the spooks while on vacation in Cuba by the ghost of FRANK SINATRA.
According to reports, the actor saw a vision of the legendary crooner raiding the mini-bar in his hotel room, after Law had celebrated his 35th birthday at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana on Saturday (29Dec07).
Law spent the Christmas holidays in Havana with ex-wife Sadie Frost and their children Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven, Rudy, five and Frost’s 17-year-old son Finlay.
A hotel source tells American magazine In Touch Weekly, "Jude had no idea that Frank used to stay in the same room. You could see he was really spooked by his sighting. He’d sampled lots of the hotels rum cocktails to celebrate his birthday so he thought it was just a drunken vision. But when we told him of the situation, he came clean about seeing the ghost.
"He swore he saw Frank crouched at the mini-bar, rummaging through the bottles and snacks.
"Poor old Jude was relieved when we finally put him in a different room, although we didn’t dare tell him that Winston Churchill used to stay in it, just in case."

LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS has been classed as a "special needs" patient following her admission to a Los Angeles hospital, after it emerged she locked one of her young sons in a room with her at her Los Angeles home.
The troubled singer, 26, was admitted to the city’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Thursday evening (03Jan08) following a major stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills mansion after she refused to hand over her two boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline after a scheduled visit. Her court-appointed monitor called for emergency services after witnessing Spears’ apparent mental breakdown.
A source tells People.com, "She had already put Sean Preston in the car when Britney locked herself in a room with Jayden James.
"The cops came and got through the door and tied her down to a gurney." And Spears is being kept under close watch at the hospital - she is being held on a "5150 hold" order, meaning medics have reason to believe she is a danger to herself or others. Various online gossip sites claim Spears has been identified as a "special needs" patient, a reference which is only used for those who have overdosed or attempted to commit suicide.
Meanwhile, police are reported to have found Spears "under the influence of an unknown substance" after the incident - but further U.S. reports claim her drug test was negative.
Life & Style magazine is reporting an insider as saying, "Her blood test just came back, and, thank God, it was clean. There are no traces of drugs or alcohol of any kind." Spears is expected to remain at the hospital for a minimum of 72-hours on lock down for mental evaluation, after going "completely psycho" when paramedics took her away in an ambulance.
Another source tells Usmagazine.com, "They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics. (It was) a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy."

WHITNEY HOUSTON’s divorce to BOBBY BROWN has experienced a further delay after both parties failed to turn up to court on Friday (04Jan08) for a scheduled hearing.
The U.S. court date had previously (Dec07) been thrown into doubt after Brown’s attorney, Stacey Phillips, filed a motion to quit as the R&B singer’s lawyer following a series of rows with her client.
But the hearing had not been officially called off, and because neither Houston nor Brown or their respective lawyers bothered to appear before Superior Court Judge Claudia Silbar on Friday, Phillips’ request to be released as Brown’s counsel was denied.
Houston’s attorney, Stephen Kolodny, claims the superstar was too ill to attend court, reports TMZ.com.
The former couple wed in 1992 and split in 2006. They are each fighting for legal and physical custody of their 14-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina.

JOHNNY DEPP has been voted the world’s most bankable film star in 2007, according to a survey of movie exhibitors.
The annual survey by Quigley Publishing Co. asked theatre companies to vote for the 10 stars who generate the most cash for them. And Depp came up on top thanks to Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Will Smith came second, followed by George Clooney, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Tom Cruise, Nicolas Cage, Will Ferrell and Tom Hanks.

Argentinean model-turned-actor SEBASTIAN RULLI has married his longtime girlfriend CECILIA GALEANO in a last minute ceremony on New Year’s Eve (31Dec07).
The ceremony took place at the couple’s home on Monday in front of a small gathering of friends and family.

A cash shortage has forced former child star GARY COLEMAN to resort to selling his underwear on Internet auction site eBay.
Coleman shot to fame in U.S. sitcom Diff’rent Strokes at the age of 10, but his acting career dried up after the show ended in 1986, and he has had little more than bit parts ever since.
The 39-year-old - who commanded $70,000 (£35,000) an episode at the height of his fame - is now said to be struggling to pay for dialysis treatment following his two kidney transplant operations, according to MediaTakeOut.com.
Coleman is allegedly attempting to raise money by selling his possessions online.

Director ANG LEE’s controversial LUST, CAUTION is in the running for the foreign film prize at the 2008 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.
The adult drama was named on Friday (04Jan08) as one of five films nominated for the non-English language prize, and will go up against the Dari Persian The Kite Runner, the German-language The Lives of Others, and the French-speaking films The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and the Edith Piaf biopic La Vie En Rose.
The shortlist for Best Foreign Film comes more than a week before the main BAFTA nominations are announced on 16 January (08).
The winners will be revealed at a lavish ceremony at London’s Royal Opera House on 10 February (08).

Simmons claims that Daniel Adams’ website, rushmecredit.com, and his company Devoted Inc. falsely used his image to obtain information on consumers seeking to sign up for his Visa-backed RushCard, reports AllHipHop.com.
Simmons’ UniRush Financial Services of New York company launched the RushCard in 2004.
The card is a pre-paid Visa/debit card for people who cannot or do not have traditional checking accounts.

Country star CHARLEY PRIDE is to receive a lifetime achievement award from his home state of Mississippi.
The 69-year-old singer, who hails from the town of Sledge, will be honoured by the state’s Arts Commission in a ceremony on 8 February (08).
Pride, who was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000, is the only performer to be recognised by the Governor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts.

Spanish star Jose Carreras insists nobody could replace the Italian and it would be disrespectful for him and Placido Domingo to consider reforming without Pavarotti, who lost his battled with pancreatic cancer, aged 71, in September (07).
Speaking from Australia, where he is currently performing, Carreras says, "For Placido and myself to do something would betray the memory of Luciano; I don’t think that would be ethical." Carreras, a cancer survivor, reveals he frequently called Pavarotti at home in the weeks leading up to his death: "It was important to show him that someone who suffered from such a severe disease was able to overcome the situation and win the battle."

Rapper BIRDMAN and his record label are to be sued over claims they have sampled other artists’ music without paying the appropriate licensing fees.
The lawsuit, which was filed 29 October (08) in U.S. District Court in New Orleans, claims Birdman owes a unspecified amount of money for the use of copyrighted songs, citing breach of contract and copyright infringement.
The lawsuit claims music on albums by Birdman - real name Bryan Williams Lil’ Wayne and the Big Tymers contain copyrighted material that Cash Money Records used without licensing agreements and without paying royalties.
However, none of the songs in violation were named in the suit.
In the legal papers, it states Birdman and his brother and co-founder Ronald Williams made a single payment of $400,000 (£200,000), but have failed to provide the companies with "appropriate accounting" to show how much more money they owed.
A number of music publishing companies - including WB Music Corp., Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corp., Cotillion Music Inc. and Noontime Tunes attempted to serve the label with a copy of the lawsuit at their offices in New Orleans, Louisiana, on 3 December (08), but Cash Money no longer operated at the location.
Birdman’s publicist, Kia Selby, says she hasn’t seen the lawsuit.

CROSBY, STILLS AND NASH rocker STEPHEN STILLS is recovering after undergoing surgery for prostate cancer.
The 62-year-old had surgery on his birthday on Thursday (03Jan08), after an early diagnosis of the disease potentially saved his life.

The troubled singer, 26, was involved in a major stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, home on Thursday evening after she refused to hand over her sons to Federline following a scheduled visit, as per the orders of their child custody agreement.
Cops are reported to have found Spears "under the influence of an unknown substance" after the incident, which is being referred to as a "family custody dispute" by the Los Angeles police department.
She was eventually taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation, where she is currently being held on a "5150 hold" - meaning medics have reason to believe she is a danger to herself or others.
Her young son Jayden James was also admitted to hospital for a reason as yet unknown, but the one-year-old has now been discharged and has joined his two-year-old brother Sean Preston at their dad’s house.
The news of the kids’ safety comes as Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, prepares to attend an emergency court hearing to request Spears be temporarily stripped of her visitation rights. According to TMZ.com, the pop star will be represented by her lawyer Tara Scott from the firm Trope and Trope - just days after the attorney’s office filed a motion requesting a judge’s permission to quit the case due to a "communication breakdown" between the two parties.
