LaGRAVENESE COULDN’T AFFORD BEATLES TRACK

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:25 pm

P.S. I LOVE YOU director RICHARD LaGRAVENESE had to rethink the movie’s soundtrack - because he couldn’t afford the rights to the famous BEATLES song of the same name.
LaGravenese hoped to use the John Lennon and Sir Paul McCartney song bearing the film’s title, but was forced to use the Pogues Christmas classic Fairytale Of New York after realising the movie’s budget.
He says, "We couldn’t afford it. If we’d gone with the Beatles track it would have completely blown our budget."
