Actress DARYL HANNAH hated her childhood so much she created a fantasy world inside her head so she could get away.
The Splash star was bullied at school and used her imagination to help her escape - and it eventually helped her become a successful actress. She says, "I really lived inside my head. It got me nowhere at school. I was a skinny kid who was picked on.
"I liked anything based on imagination. I was obsessed with living in my imaginary world. I just needed film sets and costumes to live out my fantasy."
