GREENING DIED AFTER DRUGS BINGE
LATEST: British radio star KEVIN GREENING died after taking large quantities of cocaine and ecstasy, according to police.
Greening, an ex-BBC Radio 1 breakfast show DJ, died in his sleep on Saturday (29Dec07), aged 44.
Police initially treated the death as "unexplained" after a post-mortem failed to establish the cause of death, but further tests indicate a drugs overdose.
It is believed Greening suffered a heart attack at his partner’s home in London.
On Wednesday (03Jan08) police arrested a man in his 50s on suspicion of possessing and intending to supply Class A drugs to the star. He has now been released on police bail.
