GATES TO WED
British pop star Gareth Gates is to wed his girlfriend of five years, Suzanne Mole.
The Pop Idol runner up, 23, proposed to 32-year-old dancer Mole on New Year’s Eve (31Dec07).
Gates says, "We are both extremely happy and look forward to planning our wedding and life together." The singer rose to fame on U.K. reality TV show Pop Idol in 2002, but lost in the final to Will Young.
