SPEARS TO BRING UP BABY WITH MUM
BRITNEY SPEARS’ sister JAMIE LYNN has quashed fears she’s not ready for motherhood by enlisting her mum LYNNE to teach her the art of bringing up baby.
The 16-year-old announced her pregnancy last month (Dec07), sparking concerns she’s too young to raise a child.
However, Spears insists her mum will be on constant call to guide her through the stress and strains of looking after a newborn.
She tells British magazine Heat, "My mom will be helping me so much. I have to take responsibility and do a lot of it myself, but she’s going to have to teach me so much. I’m sure it’ll get hard at times. I’m sure I’ll be grumpy.
"I love babies. I have a great mom and she has raised three kids, so if I take lessons from her, I think it’ll be great." Lynne Spears was due to release a parenting book last year (07), but it was postponed when Jamie Lynn revealed she was expecting a child with 19-year-old Casey Aldridge.
