RASMUSSEN DIRECTS
Danish actress RIE RASMUSSEN is stepping behind the camera to direct her first movie.
The actress - remembered by a generation of men for her role as Rebecca Romijn’s lesbian lover in 2002 movie Femme Fatale - is making a movie about her adopted Vietnamese sister’s struggle to be accepted in Denmark.
But Rasmussen insists she won’t use her looks to get ahead: "I could never play a woman in a bikini with an Uzi (gun) strapped to my back.
"I prefer to take the starving artist approach: knocking down doors in order to pay for my own can of tuna fish."
