JAMES BROWN’S LAST ALBUM HIDDEN AWAY

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:13 pm

An album soul legend JAMES BROWN recorded the summer before he died has been withheld from release as a result of a prolonged legal battle.
Brown finished the LP just months before he died aged 73 on Christmas Day (25Dec) 2006, but continued court battles over who benefits from his royalties, means the songs have yet to see the light of day.
Attorney Buddy Dallas reveals that the tracks, along with more than 50 unreleased Brown tunes, are locked away until the dispute is settled.
Five of Brown’s children are attempting to overrule the singer’s will, claiming his advisors - including Dallas - pressured him into creating charitable trusts that they could profit from.
