BJORK REFUSES TO DITCH ALCOHOL
Icelandic singer BJORK refuses to give up alcohol as a New Year’s resolution because she enjoys drinking a litre (1.75 pints) of vodka every week.
The It’s Oh So Quiet hitmaker has enjoyed a bottle of vodka every Friday night since she was a teenager - and insists it is a way of life in her homeland.
She says, "I watched my grandparents doing that and it’s my pattern. Just like it has been my family’s release for a thousand years.
"Alcohol is how people in Iceland lose themselves, switch their conscience off and run riot."
