SHERIDAN: ‘BOLTON HELPED ME SING’
Actress NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN credits fiance MICHAEL BOLTON with "curing" her phobia of singing after years of believing she had no talent.
The Desperate Housewives star was told repeatedly by her mother she couldn’t sing, and hid her voice away.
But now, forty years on, she is teaming up with Bolton to record an album of duets, and thanks the star for boosting her confidence.
Sheridan, 44, explains, "My mother has an extraordinary singing voice. When I was little I never thought I was quite up to it. I’d sing around the house and she’d ask me to be quiet. She said I couldn’t sing, so I chose to believe that.
"It was Michael who lured me out of my shell. He cured me. It was such a big achievement." (CG/WNTMAS/LR) WENN - FOURTH - HOLLYWOOD, SHOWBIZ & PEOPLE NEWS - 31 DECEMBER 2007
