LINNEY SLAMS YOUNG STARS
British actress LAURA LINNEY has warned young stars like LINDSAY LOHAN to stay clear of the celebrity spotlight.
The Truman Show star insists it’s all too easy for young celebrities to get sucked into the party scene and lose sight of why they got into acting in the first place.
Linney, 43, is convinced she owes her success in Hollywood to keeping her private life away from the media.
She says, "I’m a little wary of all that. Let’s just say it’s very easy to buy into stuff that couldn’t be helpful to you as an actress or as a human being.
"I didn’t even know what I was doing until I was 24, 25. And I could never have done that (the party scene). I had no desire for it. Too distracting."
