The green gown worn by KEIRA KNIGHTLEY in ATONEMENT has topped a poll of the favourite film costumes of all time.
The dress triumphed in the survey carried out by British TV network Sky Movies and In Style magazine, beating iconic big-screen outfits such as Marilyn Monroe’s white dress in The Seven Year Itch into second place.
Audrey Hepburn’s black Givenchy dress seen in Breakfast At Tiffany’s came in third place. Other costumes making the top ten include Olivia Newton John’s tight trousers in Grease, Liza Minnelli’s stockings and shorts combination in Cabaret, and Kate Winslet’s blue gown in Titanic.
