TREVI FIRES BACK AT BOOK CLAIMS LINKING HER TO DRUG BOSS
Latin singer GLORIA TREVI has hit back at reports a recent show was funded by a notorious Colombian drug trafficker.
A new book penned by the oldest son of drug kingpin Gilberto Rodriguez Orejuela alleges his father financed one of the star’s gigs.
But Trevi has stormed back through her publicist, who states, "These accusations implicate the supposed concert promoter that Rodriguez Mondragon mentions in his book, whose name wasn’t revealed since he’s not a recognized person, which doesn’t contribute anything to the author’s credibility.
"If the media want to investigate the supposed money that was used, they should ask the supposed promoter." The book, called El hijo del ajedrecista II, also alleges Trevi, a former Miss Venezuela had a romantic relationship with drug cartel member Victor Patino Fomeque.
Mondragon claims Fomeque gifted Trevi with a diamond ring the day he was arrested.
