IRWIN’S WIFE PLANS TO SHAME JAPAN

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:33 pm

The widow of TV Crocodile Hunter STEVE IRWIN hopes to shame Japan’s scientific whale kill by launching a non-lethal research of whales in Antarctic waters next year (08).
Terri Irwin plans a campaign against Japanese whaling to show that scientific data about whales can be obtained without killing them.
She said the project would be launched in 2008 through a whale watching business she bought after her husband’s death in 2006.
Irwin says, "We are working with Oregon State University to do formalised research in the southern hemisphere.
"We can actually learn everything the Japanese are learning with lethal research by using non-lethal research. We are determined to show the Japanese they can stop all whaling, not just humpbacks." Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray off Australia’s Great Barrier Reef last year (06).
