BROWN’S EX-HUSBAND SEEKS CUSTODY
MELANIE BROWN’s ex-husband has filed for custody of the couple’s nine-year-old daughter after the singer took her on tour with the SPICE GIRLS.
Dancer Jimmy Gulzar refused to alter his visitation schedule while Brown toured the globe with their daughter Phoenix Chi.
But Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider blocked Gulzar’s attempt to stop the child from travelling and gave Brown the green-light to take Phoenix out of the U.S.
Brown still maintains sole legal and physical custody of Phoenix, and Gulzar will have scheduled visitation over the next few months. The 32-year-old star married Dutch dancer Gulzar in 1998 before divorcing in 2000.
