HINDER STAR ARRESTED
HINDER rocker AUSTIN JOHN WINKLER has been arrested in Arkansas on suspicion of drink driving.
The 26-year-old singer was stopped by police in Jonesboro on Friday (21Dec07) after he was spotted driving through the town without his headlights on.
Police detected alcohol on the rocker’s breath. He insisted he’d only drunk two glasses of wine before stepping into the vehicle, which belonged to a girlfriend - who was a passenger.
According to reports, Winkler later confessed he’d been drinking more wine.
Winkler is scheduled to appear in court on 2 January (08).
