CRUISE & HOLMES SEARCH FOR A WINTER RETREAT IN ITALY
TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES are looking to join GEORGE CLOONEY as superstar Italian property owners after taking off to the Alps to find a European winter retreat.
The couple has been house-hunting in Badia, Italy, according to reports, and locals are looking forward to welcoming their celebrity neighbours to a new mountain chalet.
American magazine Life & Style reports the couple and baby Suri were spotted dining in Badia on 1 December (07).
A source says, "Several locals say they’ve seen Tom and Katie looking at chalets with a real-estate agent who’s keeping details super quiet." Cruise isn’t be the first Hollywood star to find Italian village life appealing - Clooney has a castle retreat on the banks of Lake Como.
