CAMPBELL TURNS TO JOURNALISM
Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL has embarked on a new career after accepting a role as a political reporter for a British publication.
The catwalk beauty, 37, has been commissioned by GQ magazine to conduct interviews with high profile political figures.
Campbell’s first subject has been listed as Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela, whom she met earlier this year (07). She is also rumoured to be lining up questions for a possible meeting with reclusive Cuban dictator, Fidel Castro.
This isn’t the first time Campbell has tried out new projects - since beginning her modelling career at the age of 15, the star has also toyed with a music career which resulted in an album release in 1995. She has also turned her hand to designing clothes and creating a popular perfume range as well as landing cameo roles in several movies including Sacha Baron Cohen’s 2002 film, Ali G Indahouse.
