WINEHOUSE PAYS HUSBAND’S $600,000 LEGAL BILL
AMY WINEHOUSE will pay $600,000 (£300,000) in legal fees for husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL it has emerged.
Winehouse was left to pick up the bill after Fielder-Civil’s application for costs was rejected.
The news comes after Fielder-Civil’s mother Georgette accused her daughter-in-law of taking drugs and neglecting her son as he is held on remand at London’s Pentonville Prison.
But Winehouse’s father Mitch claims Winehouse is being financially supportive in his fight over grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice charges.
He says, "Amy is going to pay for his legal team and that will be a lot of money. "I don’t see how anyone can say she’s not doing anything for him. "His mother hasn’t been forthcoming with an offer to put her hand in her pocket, so maybe she should keep her opinions to herself."
