McCARTNEY’S COFFEE SHAME

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:03 pm

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has risked angering his new bosses at global coffee chain Starbucks - by admitting he prefers visiting small, independent coffee outlets.
The former Beatle is one of the highest profile artists signed to the multinational company’s Hear Music label, but he admits he doesn’t always go to Starbucks to buy his hot beverages.
He says, "I go to the cafe next door to one of the Starbucks, to my everlasting shame. It’s all right.
"Listen Howard Schultz (Starbucks’ chairman), if you’re reading this, please forgive me, I love soy latte and I always have it to go. I don’t often sit in Starbucks." McCartney was the first star to sign to Hear Music, after leaving his longtime label EMI in March (07).
