Scottish actor GERARD BUTLER has laughed off his status as a Hollywood sex symbol, insisting the title is "meaningless".
The 300 star admits he is flattered by the throngs of women who lavish compliments on him - but refuses to get carried away with his hunk tag.
He says, "You’d rather have somebody say you were sexy than you weren’t sexy and that you were good looking rather than you were ugly.
"But at the same time, and I can say this from the heart, I don’t get too caught up in any of that."
