HILARY SWANK swapped drama for comedy to star in funny film P.S. I LOVE YOU, because her mother was sick of watching her die on screen.
Swank has enjoyed an exceptionally successful career starring in serious movies - picking up Best Actress Oscars for her roles in Boy’s Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby.
But she reveals the heavy storylines have taken their toll on her family.
Swank says, "I usually do drama. But my mom said to be ‘can you please live to see the credits’. So it’s giving my mum her new year’s resolution early."
