BALDWIN LAWYER: ‘COURT NO-SHOW WAS A MIX-UP’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:58 pm

LATEST: DANIEL BALDWIN’s lawyer is appealing to have the arrest warrant issued for the actor scrapped, insisting his recent failure to turn up at court last Friday (07Dec07) was a mix-up.
The 47-year-old actor was due to be at Los Angeles County Superior Court at 10am to discuss his probation progress after he was found guilty of having a cocaine ingesting device on his person and of being under the influence last year (06).
However, Baldwin contacted his probation officer on Thursday (06Dec07) to report that he would be unable to appear in court because he was shooting new movie Grey Gardens in Canada, according to the actor’s attorney Grant Hoagland.
Hoagland states, "It was a miscommunication." When Baldwin failed to show up, Judge Scott Millington issued a no bail bench warrant for his arrest and revoked the actor’s probation.
