SMITH TO FOLLOW WINFREY IN OBAMA CAMPAIGN
Hollywood actor WILL SMITH will follow OPRAH WINFREY’s lead and join the campaign trail for U.S. presidential candidate BARACK OBAMA.
Chatshow host Winfrey threw her support behind the Democrat senator in his election bid by joining him at a rally in Iowa on Saturday (08Dec07).
And now Bad Boys star Smith, 39, is keen to show his support for Obama too.
He tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "I just gave him a call and asked him to tell me wherever you think you need me. I think he’s what the future of America is going to be. Barack represents what I feel is the future of the optimum survival of America."
