Former AMERICAN IDOL contestant JESSICA SIERRA’s legal troubles have cost her dear - she has been dropped from the line-up for a special tribute concert for U.S. troops.
Sierra is currently being held in a Florida jail after a drunken bar brawl last weekend (01Dec07) which resulted in charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and violating conditions of her parole on earlier felony battery and possession charges - all of which she has denied.
But her latest offences have forced the Move America Forward organisation to cut all ties with the disgraced 22-year-old and cancel her appearance at their A Song for Their Service gig later this month (Dec07), reports TMZ.com.
A statement released by the group’s vice president says, "It is quite obvious that Ms. Sierra needs to devote a great deal of time to putting her life back together.
"We wish Jessica Sierra all the best in her path towards overcoming her addictions, but that path does not include participation in the ‘A Song for Their Service’ concert." Sierra has also been caught up in a sex tape scandal, after a major porn distributor announced plans to release a blue movie featuring the singer by the end of the year (07).

LATEST: Pop star NICK LACHEY has denied rumours he married his TV presenter girlfriend VANESSA MINNILLO this weekend.
On Saturday (08Dec07), Fox News claimed the couple - who have been dating since April 2006 - were due to exchange vows in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas, but the stories have now been dismissed as speculation.
A representative for Lachey tells celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, “(The reports are) not true. Fox made it up." Lachey, 34, who moved in to Minnillo’s New York apartment in April (07), was previously married to Jessica Simpson. Their divorce was finalised in June 2006.

BACKSTREET BOYS star HOWIE DOROUGH has married his girlfriend LEIGH BONIELLO in a fairytale wedding on Saturday (08Dec07).
The 34-year-old singer and real estate broker Boniello exchanged vows in Dorough’s native Orlando, Florida, in a Catholic ceremony at St. James Cathedral, reports People.com.
One guest says, "The whole thing was like it belonged in a bridal magazine.
