Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:21 pm

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:21 pm

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION star GARY DOURDAN insists Hollywood celebrities react badly in front of video camera-wielding paparazzi - because they’re terrified of them.

Everything.’ "You start to feel like you’re being violated. And I’m not alone. A lot of (stars) have had problems with video camera guys. It’s scary."

GREEN DEFENDS FILM AGAINST ANTI-CATHOLICISM CLAIMS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:18 pm

Actress EVA GREEN has dismissed criticism her new movie THE GOLDEN COMPASS is an attack on Catholicism as a "fuss about nothing".
The Casino Royale star insists author Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials literary trilogy, of which The Golden Compass is the first book, is morally sound, despite its thinly-veiled critique of the Roman Catholic church.
She says, "I am amazed people are so bored. They are making a fuss about nothing.
"In past regimes in Russia and China, everyone controlled beliefs. This is more about free will, freedom of speech and fate. Although the story evolves a lot. It is very religious in the third book." The anti-religious content has reportedly been toned down in the film version of The Golden Compass on the orders of studio executives at New Line cinema, who feared a backlash in America.
The film’s star Nicole Kidman was also said to be concerned over perceived anti-Catholic sentiment in the original story.

She explains, "I was falsely arrested for prostitution - it breaks my heart to even type the words down.
"A guy drove up to me, called to me very friendly and chipper. Being the social animal that I am, I went over, figuring he was just some guy looking for where the party spots are. PETTY RECORDS NEW ALBUM IN TWO WEEKS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:12 pm

Rocker TOM PETTY has recorded a new album with his first band MUDCRUTCH in just two weeks.
The American Girl singer was encouraged to reform the group after reviewing his career for acclaimed new documentary Running Down A Dream - and he cannot believe how easy the reunion was.
He says, "It was one of those lighting bolts to the brain. A few years ago I just started thinking about how I missed those guys.
"We made the album in two weeks flat. We played everything live - vocals, no overdubs… It’s really good. I think people will enjoy it. I moved over to bass, like I used to be.
"Everybody sings at least one song on it, though I did the majority of the singing.
"We had a ball doing it. It was the most fun I’ve had in years. I had to calm myself down at night I was having so much fun. Most of the band came here and lived at my house in Malibu when we were doing it.
"I hope people enjoy it as much as I do." Petty was forced to quit the group and embark on a solo career when he first arrived in Hollywood from Florida, but he never lost touch with Mudcrutch bandmates Tom Leadon and Randall Marsh, and guitarist Mike Campbell has always been his sidekick.

PLANT DREAMS OF 1970 SHOW

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:12 pm

LED ZEPPELIN frontman ROBERT PLANT wanted the group’s upcoming reunion concert to be a song-for-song recreation of their historic 1970 show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The Stairway To Heaven singer felt the supergroup’s 9 January 1970 concert was the best they ever played - and he wanted to revisit the show for the band’s Ahmet Ertegun tribute gig in London next week (10Dec07).
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I had an idea initially that we should do our entire Royal Albert Hall set starting with We’ve Gotta Groove… Just do that!" The 1970 gig he recalls was featured in its entirety on the band’s 2002 DVD collection How The West Was Won and featured White Summer, Black Mountain Side, Whole Lotta Love, C’mon Everybody, and Communication Breakdown.
Led Zeppelin’s 10 December (07) show at London’s O2 Arena marks the band’s first full concert since their final show with the band’s late drummer John Bonham in 1980.
The group tells Rolling Stone the show will be 100 minutes long and will include band classics like Whole Lotta Love, No Quarter and Dazed & Confused, as well as selected rarities.
