SMITH DETERMINED TO BE BECKHAM’S BUDDY
WILL SMITH has set his sights on becoming DAVID BECKHAM’s best pal in 2008 after finding the British soccer stud and his wife VICTORIA "charming".
The movie star and his wife JADA PINKETT SMITH were among the Hollywood elite who welcomed the couple when they first arrived in Los Angeles this summer (07) - and now Smith wants to spend more time with his new pal.
He says, "I love his energy and his attitude, what he represents to the sport and we’re just really getting to know them.
"They’re very, very funny and I keep telling them they should let people know how funny they are because they’re hilarious. I’m interested in spending some time with them and getting to know them."
