Pop star FERGIE is hoping her Movies Rock performance of 007 theme LIVE & LET DIE will prompt film bosses to consider her as a BOND girl.
The singer, who showed off her acting talents in Grindhouse and The Aviator, wowed fans at the Kodak Theatre event on Sunday night (02Dec07) when she performed the Wings hit while flying through the air on a bungee cord.
She says, "It was really exciting. I got to fly in the air and have all my ‘Bond girls’ (dancers) round me." And Fergie hopes Bond bosses see the performance when it airs on TV this Friday (07Dec07) in America - because she’d like to be considered for a role in the next 007 film.
She adds, "That would be amazing. Why not?"

LATEST: Rapper PIMP C’s mother has confirmed her son died in his sleep.
The UGK star - real name Chad Butler - was discovered lying on his bed by paramedics answering an emergency call at the Mondrian Hotel on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip on Tuesday (04Dec07) morning.
The 33-year-old is thought to have died of natural causes.
His mum Weslyn ‘Mama Wes’ Monroe says, "Actually, we have very little idea of what happened. C’s business manager found his body in his hotel room in Los Angeles and we know he died in his sleep. Past that, we don’t know anything.
"This is a terrible shock. Mama is just a little tougher than most, but I break too."

LATEST: TUPAC SHAKUR’s defiant mother has fired back at claims she stole a designer’s branded logo, and now she’s attempting to strip him of his trademark.
Last month (Nov07), clothing designer Isaiah Israel accused Shakur of using his Marco Bellini clothing line logo, which he created in 1998, to inspire the design for her Makaveli Branded logo, which she launched in 2004.
Israel is seeking damages of $500,000 (£250,000).
Shakur contends that no trademark infringement has taken place, and she plans to cancel Israel’s mark after gathering her legal fees from him.
Her lawyer Donald N. David says, "There is no basis for Mr. Israel’s suit and an appropriate answer has been filed in the action that he has commenced denying all of his baseless allegations.
"In addition, an action has been commenced to cancel Mr. Israel’s mark in that he has failed in use such mark in interstate commerce as required."

Rapper REMY MA will face trial on gang assault and witness intimidation charges, a judge ruled on Wednesday (05Dec07).
The 26-year-old’s lawyer, Ivan Fisher, asked to have the charges dismissed, citing insufficient evidence, but Manhattan State Supreme Court Justice Rena Uviller rejected his request.
Remy Ma - real name Remy Smith - has already been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon after the shooting of 23-year-old Makeda Barnes-Joseph outside a New York nightclub in July (07).
One count of attempted murder was reduced to assault after evidence suggested the shooting was unintentional.
The charges of witness tampering and gang assault relate to the alleged beating of a witness and his boyfriend in a Bronx, New York nightclub in August (07).
Remy Ma is due back in court on 3 January (08).

A man accused of stalking KILL BILL star UMA THURMAN has rejected a plea deal to check into a mental health facility after protesting his innocence over charges of coercion.
Jack Jordan is facing charges of harassment and felony coercion - which stems from an incident in which he allegedly told Thurman he would kill himself if he saw her with another man.
The 35-year-old, who last month (Nov07) pleaded not guilty to the charges at Manhattan’s Supreme Court in New York, turned down the prosecution’s offer of enrolment in a mental health programme on Wednesday (05Dec07) - a deal which would have seen him serve a minimum of one year in an institution. His felony charge would then have been reduced to a misdemeanour upon completion of the programme.
But Jordan now faces up to four years in prison if convicted. He is currently free on $10,000 (£5,000) bail.

Funnyman RICKY GERVAIS prefers filming in the U.S. to his native Britain because Americans are more polite.
The Office creator and star - who is currently filming comedy Ghost Town in New York City - feared he would miss London when he agreed to the role, but was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of his fans across the Atlantic.
He tells British magazine Heat, "People (in the U.S.) might shout, ‘Love the show’, but they keep walking. They leave you alone. I was walking down the street with David Bowie and no one batted an eyelid. They smile and that’s it.
"I think in America when they say, ‘Love the show’, there’s no threat of them adding, ‘And you’re a fat c**t’! In London, I always worry that might happen."

Actress MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD was so star-struck by her LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD co-star BRUCE WILLIS, she was too nervous to speak to him on set.
The 23-year-old - who plays John McClane’s daughter Lucy in the fourth installment of the film franchise - admits meeting the veteran actor was such a surreal experience, she struggled to overcome her shyness.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star ZAC EFRON is convinced his singing and dancing skills are useless - as they fail to impress the opposite sex.
The 20-year-old - who is dating his co-star Vanessa Hudgens - was never successful when he tried to woo women with his musical talents.
So the actor has been forced to resort to more conventional methods of flirting.
He says, "It doesn’t work (singing and dancing). I’ve tried. Conversation always works best. There’s probably only one instance I can think of when singing to a girl worked for me.
"As for dancing, you can’t really go up to a girl and bust in on a cool dance move. It just doesn’t work. I’ve tried that, too. It’s not that cool."

JOHN CUSACK is convinced human intelligence peaks at the age of 12, after starring alongside pre-teen actress SHELAN O’KEEFE in new movie GRACE IS GONE.

TOM SELLECK is still waiting to work with STEVEN SPIELBERG, more than a quarter of a century after he missed out on the chance to play INDIANA JONES.
Selleck was offered the role of the swashbuckling archeologist in 1981’s Raider’s of the Lost Ark, but was contracted to star in Magnum, P.I. and a studio dispute forced Spielberg to hire Harrison Ford instead.
The director promised Selleck they would make a movie together - and the 62 year old is still waiting.
He says, "I still have a letter from Steven Spielberg saying what a rotten deal I’d gotten and that I had a part out there and somewhere along the line we are going to work together.
"I haven’t played that card yet."

U.S. president GEORGE W. BUSH was the victim of a phone prank after his daughter JENNA called him up during an episode of THE ELLEN DeGENERES SHOW.
The TV host was interviewing the First Daughter during a pre-recorded session on Tuesday (04Dec07), and when the 26-year-old told her she could contact her powerful father at any time, DeGeneres encouraged her to do it on air.
The call was put through and the President was surprised when his daughter revealed he was being taped for the show, saying, "Wow! That’s great! How’s my little girl doing?" Despite Bush’s insistence that her dad was "going to kill" her, when asked if he was angry about the prank the Chief Executive said, "No, not at all. I’m excited to talk to you. British rockers FOALS have been forced to cancel a date on their U.K. tour after frontman YANNIS PHILIPPAKIS injured his foot on stage.
The accident happened at a concert in Wrexham, Wales, on Tuesday (03Dec07), resulting in an axed gig in the city of Carlisle, England on Wednesday (04Dec07).
Writing on the band’s MySpace page, keyboardist Edwin Congreave says: "Yannis smashed up his foot in Wrexham in an onstage incident that can only be described as ‘gooberish’. It looks a bit like a clown’s nose. A clown’s nose full of blood, pus (sic), and coarse Greek hair." This isn’t the first time the five-piece have cancelled on their Carlisle fans - they were left disappointed when a Foals show was scrapped in October (07) in order to sort out the band’s travel visas.
Congreave adds, "This is the second time we’ve cancelled in Carlisle. To say that we’re apologetic and embarrassed is something of a redundant understatement. We’re really sorry."
