GROBAN’S CHRISTMAS COLLECTION SLEIGHS THE COMPETITION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:21 pm

Singer JOSH GROBAN is still wowing album chart experts in America by scoring an even better week on top of the Billboard countdown than last week - when he set a new personal best.
A week ago (28Nov07), Groban’s Christmas album Noel became the first festive release to hit the top of the charts since Kenny G’s Miracles in 1994, and it remains America’s favourite release with a staggering 539,000 sales week.
The album was released eight weeks ago.
The Eagles’ Long Road Out Of Eden soars back up the charts from five to two after selling 313,000 copies last week, while Alicia Keys’ As I Am slips to number three.
The week’s highest debut goes to rapper Pitbull, whose The Boatlift enters the new chart at 50.
