CHAPPELLE SMASHES HIS OWN COMEDY CLUB MARATHON RECORD
Comedian DAVE CHAPPELLE has smashed comedy club records in Los Angeles after performing a recent stand-up session for six hours and 12 minutes.
The funnyman’s previous Laugh Factory best was timed at six hours and seven minutes back in April (07), but Chappelle surpassed that with a comedy marathon on Sunday (02Dec07).
Club manager Jamie Masada says, "Dave was determined to keep his record because he recently heard that (fellow comic) Dane Cook was planning on trying to break his record." Chappelle broke Cook’s record of three hours and 50 minutes in early April.
