BEOWULF continues to slay the competition at the international box office - the animated warrior epic is the world’s number one film for a third successive week.
The movie adaptation of the epic poem, featuring the voices and animated recreations of Angelina Jolie, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ray Winstone, took $19.4 million (£9.7 million) in cinemas outside the U.S. over the weekend (30Nov-02Dec07).
Disney fairytale Enchanted is at two with $10.7 million (£5.35 million), while action movie Hitman shoots to three with takings of $10 million (£5 million).
