SCOTT STUNNED BY ‘BAD ACCENT’ CRITICISM

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:57 pm

Actor DOUGRAY SCOTT was once left bewildered when a U.S. film critic blasted him for putting on a "really bad" Scottish accent - because he was speaking in his native tongue.
The Scottish Desperate Housewives star, 42, was so stunned by the review, he no longer bothers to find out what critics think of his movies.
He says, "I never had any problem (with my accent) with Mission: Impossible II, for example, and I was Scottish in that. I read a review where an American critic said, ‘Why is this fine American actor doing a really bad Scottish accent?’ That’s when you realise there’s no point reading reviews."
