JOEL BUYS THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR
Rocker BILLY JOEL has spent $11.6 million (£5.8 million) buying the house next door to his $16.75 million (£8.38 million) New York mansion.
Just six months after surprising wife Katie Lee by splashing out on his first home in Sagaponack, Long Island in June (07), Joel has paid almost as much for the place next door.
Joel and Lee’s newest pad boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
