DOHERTY DEDICATES BABYSHAMBLES SONG TO WINEHOUSE
PETE DOHERTY finished BABYSHAMBLES’ first arena tour with a song dedicated to troubled star AMY WINEHOUSE.
The British frontman - who has vowed to steer clear of narcotics after pictures emerged of him injecting heroin last month (Nov07) - has been helping the Back To Black singer overcome her own drug problems by speaking to her over the phone daily.
And the rocker also offered support to the 24-year-old onstage in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday (01Dec07).
Before playing their 2005 hit Albion, Doherty dedicated the song to Winehouse, declaring, "She is a really nice girl and this song is for her. Keep the chin up."
